Your First Thursday at Cafe Boba
Our Thursday gatherings begin at 6:30 PM at Cafe Boba (406 E Princeton Dr, Suite 200, Princeton, TX 75407). During the first ten minutes or so, people trickle in, say hello, settle into their seats, and many grab a boba tea or coffee before we begin. There's no pressure to arrive exactly at 6:30; we're usually just chatting and getting comfortable.
Once everyone has arrived, we begin with a time of prayer. We go around the table (in no particular order) and invite anyone who would like to share what's been on their heart or something they'd appreciate prayer for. Sharing is always optional—listening is perfectly okay, too. Then, we join hands, and whoever feels led is welcome to volunteer to pray for the group. It's a simple, heartfelt moment that reminds us we're here to encourage one another as much as we are to make art.
After that, it's time to get creative! We'll introduce the evening's craft, pass around supplies, and settle into a couple of hours filled with conversation, laughter, and the occasional "How did you make yours look so good?" We usually create until about 8:15 PM, then everyone pitches in for a quick cleanup before wrapping up around 8:30 PM.
